PROGRAM OBJECTIVE(S): At the conclusion of this program the participant will be able to:
Discuss the clinical importance of periodically asking appropriate patients about any bladder leakage problems.
Describe how to do an initial assessment of bladder leakage to identify Urinary Incontinence and Overactive Bladder.
Explain when a Urinary Incontinence or Overactive Bladder problem is identified, initial management options and when a referral is indicated.
Purpose of activity: Improve clinician awareness and comfort with asking about, diagnosing and treating or referring patients with Urinary Incontinence and Overactive Bladder. Target Audience: This CME activity is appropriate for all Adult Primary Care Clinicians and Ob-Gyn; Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ob-Gyn and associated APCs
